The Story on Product
About the Products
There are some cheap products that we all need to avoid, especially install it yourself,
bought over the internet products, but overall a phone is a phone is a phone. However,
a good voice and data provider will carry multiple products. Why? Because some phone
systems are designed for certain niches. Some phone systems are made specifically
for offices with less than 25 users. While other phone systems are designed for
100-1000+ users. A great voice and data provider will have multiple product lines
in order to support the businesses needs in their community. If a dealer is only
selling one product, ask yourself, what if that product is not designed for the
size or utility of my company? There aren’t any products out there that have a "one
size fits all" line, if a dealers states they have one, think twice.
A key element for a voice and data provider is divergence. Voice and Data companies
should have solutions for almost all of your technical needs. If they are still
young, or have hit a glass ceiling, they won’t be able to help you with everything.
The result is you will end up with multiple companies working on your system. This
always results in "he said she said" over warranties, hardware and service. We want
a one stop shop that is comfortable helping us solve all our needs. If your voice
and data provider can’t provide you with solutions for your all of your technical
needs, keep looking. Voice and Data providers should be able to help us with: voice
solutions, data solutions, video and audio conferencing, video surveillance, and
a complete managed services package for us to examine.
